The MicroFinance Network

The MicroFinance Network (MFN) is a global association of leading microfinance practitioners who are committed to improving the lives of low-income people through the provision of credit, savings and other financial services. The Network believes that microentrepreneurs should be served by sustainable and profitable microfinance institutions (MFIs). Network members provide one another with technical assistance and share best practices in order to learn from one another’s successes and failures. ACCION International is the Network’s institutional sponsor.

The primary activities of the Network include: Network conferences and research and publication of conference summaries, occasional papers and technical guides. The MicroFinance Network currently consists of 33 members, including 30 microfinance institutions in 24 countries and two non-MFI practitioners based in North America.
