Pakistan Microfinance Network

The Pakistan Microfinance Network (PMN) is a network of organizations engaged in microfinance and dedicated to improving the outreach, quality and sustainability of microfinance services in Pakistan.

PMN's mission is to support the microfinance sector so that it can effectively provide financial services to most poor people. Particular focus is placed on enhancing the scale, quality, diversity and sustainability of the services provided by retail microfinance institutions.


  1. Helping to create an enabling policy environment for retail MFIs;
  2. Enhancing the capacity of retail MFIs;
  3. Establishing the use of performance measures and promoting financial transparency in retail MFIs.

Currently, the PMN 13 members include most of the largest and better-established microfinance institutions in the country, including microfinance banks, commercial banks, leasing companies, NGOs and provincial networks. PMN is also affiliated to the SEEP Network.  -  English (en)
