Credit and Savings for the Hard-Core Poor

CASHPOR (Credit and Savings for the Hard-Core Poor) is the Network of Grameen Bank-type Micro Finance Institution (MFIs) in Asia.

CASHPOR aims to reduce significantly hard-core poverty in the Asian region by providing technical assistance to scale-up existing credit and savings programmes for women below the poverty line, and by promoting new, sustainable Grameen Bank-type replications where they are needed.

Currently CASHPOR is a network of 27 banks, cooperatives, NGOs and other non-bank financial institutions in eight Asian countries.  -  English (en)
