6th World Congress on Rural and Agricultural Finance
The 6th World Congress is being jointly hosted by Asia-Pacific Rural and Agricultural Credit Association (APRACA), National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) and Ministry of Agriculture Farmers Welfare and Cooperation, Government of India. The Congress is co-organized in collaboration with four other global and regional associations: (a) Confédération Internationale du Crédit Agricole (CICA), (b) African Rural and Agricultural Credit Association (AFRACA), (c) Asociación Latinoamericana de Instituciones Financieras Para el Desarrollo (ALIDE), and (d) Near East–North Africa Regional Agricultural Credit Association (NENARACA). This 6th version of the congress is expected to be attended by 300 delegates across the globe and bring together the representatives from 150 financial institutions, global think tank, policymakers, development partners, leading practitioners and experts from 90 countries. They will be engaged in interactive discussions to unleash the potential role of rural and agricultural finance to achieve the sustainable development goal of the United Nations.
It is expected that the 6th version of this global event will be able to provide pathways to all stakeholders for extending improved and efficient financial services to rural and agricultural sector. . The congress will also aim to tackle in a multi-perspective setting on the opportunities, gaps and priority actions for developing sustainable and viable financial services and investments with actionable insights on rural financial services as a viable business strategy and as a meaningful contribution to the inclusive growth across the globe.
